Our MD & Directors

The people accountable for how this hospital runs — and what they have committed to in writing.

From the Managing Director

“A hospital is judged at 2 AM, not at 2 PM.”

Anyone can look organised during morning OPD hours. The real test of a hospital is what happens when a family arrives at two in the morning with a road accident, a chest pain or a labour emergency — whether there is a doctor physically present, whether the operation theatre can be opened, and whether anyone asks for money before treatment starts.

That is the standard we built CM Hospital around. We are a 100-bed multi-speciality and trauma centre on Bailey Road, and our emergency, ICU and operation theatres are staffed round the clock, every day of the year. Life-saving treatment begins the moment you arrive; the paperwork follows.

Patna does not need another building with a signboard. It needs hospitals where the diagnosis is honest, the estimate is written down before treatment starts, and the family is told the truth even when the news is difficult. That is what we hold our team to, and it is what I would want for my own family.

If we ever fall short of that, I would rather hear it from you directly than read it somewhere else. My office is on the ground floor, and the door is open.

Our Commitments

Four things we will not compromise on

Treatment before paperwork

In an emergency, care starts immediately. Registration and billing are handled with your attendant while treatment is already underway.

A written estimate first

Before any planned procedure you get a written estimate covering surgeon fees, theatre, implants, room and expected stay — with exclusions listed.

An honest explanation

You will be told what is wrong, what the options are and what each one is likely to achieve, in language you can actually follow.

Dignity for every patient

Same clinical care regardless of room category, religion, caste or ability to pay. Privacy during examination is not negotiable.

Who Runs What

The desk to ask for, by subject

If something is not right, this is who owns it. Ask for the post, not a name — whoever holds it that day is accountable.

Managing Director

Leads the hospital day to day and still takes a round of the emergency floor most evenings. Sets the rule that treatment always starts before paperwork.

Medical Superintendent

Responsible for clinical protocols, duty rosters and the quality of care across every department and every shift.

Chief Nursing Officer

Leads the nursing team across the wards, ICU and theatres, and runs the in-service training and infection-control programme.

Hospital Administrator

Handles admissions, billing transparency, insurance empanelment and the patient-relations desk on the ground floor.
