About the Nephrology, Dialysis & Urology department

Our dialysis unit runs through the day with RO-treated water and separate bays for hepatitis-positive patients, including evening shifts for working patients. Alongside it, our urology service handles kidney stones, prostate problems and urinary tract disease, with transplant candidates worked up here and referred to a transplant centre.

Maintenance dialysis, SLED and continuous renal replacement in ICU.

Slowing progression with blood pressure, sugar and anaemia management, plus transplant work-up and referral.

CAPD and automated PD with home training and monthly follow-up.

Kidney & Ureteric Stone Surgery

Endoscopic stone removal and open surgery where required, with stent management.

Prostate Surgery

TURP and open prostatectomy for enlarged prostate, with catheter and follow-up care.

Andrology & Male Infertility

Microsurgical varicocelectomy, TESA/PESA and erectile dysfunction care.

Paediatric Nephrology

Nephrotic syndrome, congenital anomalies and paediatric dialysis.
