What we collect
This website collects only what you type into one of its forms — an appointment request, an enquiry, a piece of feedback, a job application or a newsletter sign-up. That means your name, phone number, email address, and whatever you chose to write in the message.
A job application also includes the CV you attach. The web server additionally records the IP address a submission came from, which is used to identify spam and nothing else.
Why we collect it
- To call you back about the appointment or enquiry you sent.
- To answer a complaint, and to keep a record that it was answered.
- To consider a job application and contact you about it.
- To send the newsletter, if you asked for it.
Your medical records are separate
Nothing you type into this website becomes part of your medical record, and nothing from your medical record appears on this website. Clinical records are held by the hospital under the confidentiality rules that apply to any medical practice, and are not accessible through this site.
Who sees it
Only the hospital staff who need to act on it — the appointment desk for a booking, the management team for a complaint, HR for an application. We do not sell information, and we do not pass it to advertisers or data brokers.
We share information outside the hospital only where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect someone from serious harm.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and appointment requests are kept while they are being dealt with and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can answer a follow-up question. Job applications are kept on file so we can contact you if a matching role comes up. Ask us and we will delete yours.
Cookies
This site sets one cookie, which holds the session used to keep your form submission safe from cross-site request forgery. It carries no personal information, is not used for advertising, and expires when you close the browser.
